Miraculous Medal Novena

The Miraculous Medal is prayed every Saturday after the 8:00am Mass.

The Medal of the Immaculate Conception, commonly called the Miraculous Medal, was revealed to the humble daughter of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Catherine Laboure’ by Our Lady herself in 1830.

The Virgin Mary made several appearances to Catherine.  She announced to Catherine that she wanted a medal to be struck.  On one side was the letter “M”, a cross, and the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts.  On the other was to be an image of Mary surrounded by the pray “O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.”  Mary promised great blessings, miracles, assistance, healings and graces to those who wore the medal.  Catherine Laboure’ was declared a saint in 1947.
