Many of our parishioners have commented to me how much the enjoyed reading the inspiring book Holy Moments by Matthew Kelly which they received at Christmas. Kelly describes a "Holy Moment" as any time we are united with God: a moment of prayer, awareness of a beautiful sunset, a random act of love or kindness which increases God's Love and Joy in our life. Kelly says Holy Moments feel good. They make us incredibly happy. They boost feelings of confidence, optimism, and the general sense that our lives are moving in a positive direction.
Holy Moments liberate us from feeling helpless. Think of how much better the world would be if each of us tried to have more Holy Moments each day!
Have you experienced a Holy Moment recently? I would love for you to share them with me! You can do so anonymously below using the comment box. Then look for suggestions and examples of Holy Moments experienced by parishioners in our Parish Bulletin and Website.
May each of us open our heart and mind to all the goodness that comes from our God!
    ~Fr. Bell

P.S. Additional copies of Holy Moments by Matthew Kelly are available in our church's vestibule. Feel free to take some for yourself, for your family members and for your friends.
