How It Started

In 2022 Nativity partnered with Catholic Leadership Institute (CLI) to embark on a three year plan to move into the future with hope and to cultivate a deeper missionary spirit. Parishioners were tasked with completing a survey, The Disciple Maker Index (DMI). This gave us a snapshot of where we were as a parish community showing us our strengths as well as opportunities for growth.

What We've Done So Far

After the survey, two teams were created: First, an
Envisioning Team to analyze key areas, including personal faith development, parish engagement and perceptions of parish life. They developed our Parish Pastoral Plan which outlined three main priorities: Spiritual Growth, Parish Engagement & Communication. Then an Implementation Team was constructed to come up with practical ways to improve on these priorities. Below is a brief update of the progress  we've made with our three priorities.

What's Next?

This is where you come in. Next month we will take the DMI once more. This will allow us to see where we’ve improved and where there are opportunities for growth. This will help us to continue to serve and support the needs of our wonderful parish community into the future.

Stay tuned for more info on the next DMI Survey in the coming weeks!
