The “Synod on Synodality: Communion,
Participation, and Mission”
is a two-year process of listening and dialogue that began in 2021 and will conclude in 2023. The Archdiocese of Philadelphia understands the synodal process as a crucial moment in the life of the Church of Philadelphia; it perceives it as a learning process and an opportunity for conversion and renewal of ecclesial life under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
