Legion of Mary

The Legion of Mary is a ministry whose mission is to make Christ known and loved through devotion to His Mother. Their mission is accomplished through active and regular participation in prayer and service.

The members of the Legion of Mary make Christ known by visiting Fair Acres Nursing Home, Riddle Hospital, Delaware County Prison, and Sterling Nursing Home to pray with and be present to the residents.  They come together on Thursday evening in the Parish Conference Room to make rosaries to support various ministries of the parish including sending them to the people of Nativity Village in Nicaragua (Father Chuck’s Challenge.  They also evangelize by going to neighborhoods and homes.  Their meetings, which are held on Sunday mornings at 11:15am, in the Rectory Conference Room, consist of prayers, reports on the weekly work done, and listening to an address by their spiritual advisor.
