Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

When?  Saturday December 2, 2023. Welcome and Registration begin in the Brick Building at 9:30. The retreat concludes at 4:45 and is followed by the 5:00 Vigil Mass.

Where?  All over our beautiful campus! We will start in the Brick Building and move into the church for the opening remarks and keynote speaker, which begins promptly at 10. After that, we will break into 3 groups and follow a session leader to the next sessions. We will also be utilizing the Parish Center and the school gym.*

Why now? Many of our parishioners have told us that they’ve never been on a retreat. We can’t think of a better time to retreat from everyday life and focus on our Lord than during the beginning of Advent.

How much does this cost? Why isn’t it free?  We are asking for a donation of $20 per person to cover costs for food and supplies. This is not a parish fundraiser. Financial assistance is available to anyone who needs it. Just call the rectory if this applies.

What’s  included?  A Full-day spiritual retreat, Coffee/tea and donuts at registration and a box lunch from Wayside Market (homemade chips, cookie, fruit salad and choice of 2 small sandwiches) and soft drinks. You will select your sandwich option when you register.

What is the intended age group for this retreat? While the retreat might be of more interest to our adult audience, it’s appropriate for anyone over the age of 14.

Will babysitting be provided? We are not able to offer babysitting for this event.

* What if I have trouble physically getting around? We’ve got you covered! When registering, make sure to check the box for physical assistance. Or ask one of our volunteers at the event.

I want to help. How can I? We will be requesting volunteers for help with the day and/or donations. We have short time periods or 1-2 hours throughout the day where we need a bit of help. This unique service opportunity is open to those preparing for confirmation, high school students looking for community service hours, and adults looking to help. Please stay tuned!
