    Religious Devotions at Nativity BVM

Our mission is to be the Hands of Christ, but we can't do that unless we nourish our faith through the Sacraments and regular devotions. Nativity BVM Parish offers many opportunities to grow in faith in every season. These include:
    • Eucharistic Adoration
    • Rosary for Peace
    • Bible Study on the Eucharist
    • Legion of Mary

    Eucharistic Adoration

    Adoration Chapel Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-8:00pm

Our Eucharistic Lord is present for public adoration, worship, and personal prayer. Why not come and spend some quiet time with Jesus? He longs for you to visit Him!

Archbishop Fulton Sheen made a daily Holy Hour throughout his priesthood and recommended Catholics pray before the Blessed Sacrament as often as possible. Perhaps that is once a week for you, or once a month, or ten minutes each day. However often you can come and however long you can stay, Jesus deeply desires to spend time with you.

Remember that He is truly present in Adoration just as He is present in the Eucharist we receive at Mass. What a blessing and joy that we can visit Our Lord in Adoration!

    Rosary for Peace

Tuesdays at 7:00pm in the Conference Room and Monday-Saturday at 7:30am in the church

Our group comes together once a week in the Conference Room to pray the rosary for world peace. We also pray a rosary before daily Mass each day. Join us in this beautiful Marian devotion and you will gain peace in your soul as well!

Pope Pius XI said, "If you desire peace in your hearts, in your homes, and in your country, assemble each evening to recite the Rosary." Our Lady of Fatima also instructed us to pray the rosary daily. We hope to increase devotion to the rosary by coming together as a parish to pray it!

    Bible Study on the Eucharist

In this year of Eucharistic renewal, Nativity BVM Parish offers a weekly video and discussion series on the Eucharist and the Scriptures called “Lectio: Eucharist: Discovering Mass in the Bible.” The study meets on Monday nights at 6:30pm in the Conference Room and our facilitator is Deacon Bill Kussmaul. All are welcome. No pre-registration needed. Bring a Bible!

Note: Please check the bulletin to confirm the schedule as we periodically take breaks.

    Legion of Mary

Sundays at 11am in the Conference Room

Our members visit nursing homes, hospitals, and prisons to pray the rosary and spread the Good News of God’s love for all His people. Weekly meetings consist of prayers, reports on the weekly work done, and listening to an address by our spiritual advisor.

    Rosary Makers

Wednesdays at 4:30pm in the Parish Center

Members of the Legion of Mary come together to make rosaries. These rosaries are distributed to the prisoners, given to families who are having their baby baptized, given to patients in area hospitals and nursing homes.
