Baptism
Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as children of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission.
Baptisms at Nativity take place twice a month- on the first and third Sundays of every month at 12pm (new time while Noon Mass is not taking place during Covid-19). It is necessary to contact the Rectory to schedule a date for Baptism. All first time parents must attend a Pre-Jordan class prior to the date a child is baptized. Nativity’s Pre-Jordan class takes place on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 7pm in the Rectory Conference Room. It is necessary to contact the Rectory to register for the class prior to the date of the class. For questions regarding Baptism and/or to register for a Baptism, please contact the Parish Rectory, 610-566-0185. |
