Next Generation Parish Prayer
Our parish has partnered with Catholic Leadership Institute. For the next three years, with your help, we will be developing an Envisioning Plan to not only survive as a parish but thrive! As we begin this process, this is the prayer we will offer whenever we gather as a parish community:
Gracious God, source of Light and Truth, when your Son, Jesus, encountered
the blind man, Bartimaeus, he asked him, "What do you want me to do for you?"
The blind man replied, "Master, I want to see."
We, too, Lord, want to see.
We want to see how we can better serve you as members of Nativity BVM Parish.
Guide us, Lord, in our envisioning process upon which we have embarked.
Help us to see more clearly the paths you call us to follow.
Give us, we pray, the spiritual gifts to faithfully answer your call to make disciples,
share the Good News, and be your loving hands reaching out to others in need.
Help us to set forth a clear pastoral plan for our parish.
With the prayers of our Patroness, the Blessed Virgin Mary,
to aid us along the way, may we see more clearly,
and may our efforts bear abundant fruit
for the good of our parish and the good of your Church.
We ask this through our Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever. Amen.
