St. John’s Hospice Homeless Shelter Volunteers make casseroles to be delivered to St. John’s Hospice that will feed the homeless men who reside there and who rely on the goodness of others for their food, clothing and prayers. The recipes and pans for the casseroles are provided by Nativity and are in the vestibule of the church. Prepared casseroles can be dropped off to the large freezers in the Rectory garage.
Volunteers can sign up to serve a meal to the homeless men at St. John’s Hospice in Philadelphia on the last Friday of the month. The group meets at 9:45am in front of the Nativity BVM Rectory and leaves from the Rectory at 10:00am and returns by 2:00 pm.
